Hands on and realistic in decision making
Energy transition projects are (currently) mainly carried out in the Netherlands by HYBRID, as the various countries use different methodologies that cannot be directly shared and/or connected to each other. Because HYBRID has many international customers, we are regularly involved in APM (Asset Performance Management) to participate in a transition process of our customers.
HYBRID often carries out these projects in collaboration with DD (Delta Dynamics), whereby DD often includes the transition of the individual/human aspect in the transition and HYBRID focuses on the technical aspect of the Energy Transition part.
The Netherlands is a forerunner in Energy Transition projects within the EU, the government has made billions available for this. The Netherlands will also use hydrogen as an energy carrier, the Dutch gas network is extremely suitable to use this for the Energy Transition because the Netherlands wants to become the energy hub of Europe. A lot of Ammonia will also be stored in the Netherlands, which can be used as an energy carrier for hydrogen.
By being at the forefront of the Energy Transition, there is a chance that (too) much tuition money will be paid and the Netherlands will invest (much) more money than neighboring countries for this Energy Transition. In the Netherlands this is (often) accepted because we can then serve as a guide country for other countries.
The idea behind this is not surprising because we can convert the so-called learning money into economic growth / development for Dutch companies. Other countries are much more waiting until everything developed and marked proven approaches.
HYBRID and Delta Dynamics have developed their own approach that is already being applied to various customers. These projects have a lead time of many years, which are often carried out for the Dutch government (national, provincial and municipal).
